The sale can either be from a new customer or from an existing customer who is renewing a subscription. Joining the MagsForLess Affiliate Program is not only a way to make money, but it can also add value to your site as well.
Q: Who can apply to the MagsForLess Affiliate Program?
A: Just about anyone who has a Web site. We do reserve the right to exclude a site at any time if we deem the content of the site to be inappropriate. We only want affiliate partners to join if they are serious about making a lot of money and willing to consistently promote MagsForLess.
Q: How much does the Affiliate Program cost?
A: Nothing. It is absolutely free.
Q: How is this program different from other affiliate programs on the Web?
A: You earn a 25% commission on every subscription that you refer from your site via the MagsForLess tracking link. MagsForLess offers more tools and features than any other company to help you generate as much money as possible.
Q: Can I join if I am from another country other than the United States?
A: Yes. Participating sites can be anywhere in the world as long as the target customer is from the U.S. The magazine subscriptions are currently available for U.S. buyers only. If your address is outside of the United States, simply select United States and proceed with the application.
Q: How are orders tracked and credited to Affiliate partner sites?
A. MagsForLess uses an in-house cookie-based tracking system. When a customer clicks on a MagsForLess link, a cookie (small file) with your referral ID will be stored on their computer. When the customer purchases at MagsForLess, that cookie with referral ID will let us know that you referred MagsForLess a sale. The commission will be automatically assessed.
Q. How long does the MagsForLess cookie last?
A. The cookie last for 120 days. That means if somebody clicks on your link and doesn't register right away, they will have a cookie with your referral ID on their computer, so if they register within the next 120 days, you will still get credit.
Q: How do I create Links to MagsForLess?
A: Once you are accepted into the Affiliate program, we have provided you with all of the tools; datafeed, banners, buttons, text links and logos needed to create your links.
Q: I operate more than one web site. Can you track them separately, but pay me with one commission check?
A: Yes. You can register more than one URL.

Q: How much will I be paid?
A: You will earn a 25% commission on all paid magazine orders that come through your site. It may be new subscriptions or renewals from customers who you have referred to us before.
Q: How do I get paid?
A: When visitors click through the banner, logo or text link that you have properly linked to our site and they subscribe to a magazine from MagsForLess, you will receive a 25% commission on the paid orders. We will calculate your commission and send you a check at the middle of the following month. If your commission totals less than $75 for the month, we will accrue your commission until you reach the $75 minimum and pay you at the middle of the next month. US affiliate partners can select whether they want to be paid via check or PayPal. International affiliates have to be paid via PayPal. All payments will be made in U.S. dollars.
Q. Can I change or personalize the images provided by MagsForLess?
A. No. It is not permissible to change or personalize any MagsForLess images.
Q. Can I use MagsForLess in my URL or in the name of my site?
A. No. The use of MagsForLess or any variation thereof in your URL or in the name of your site will be cause for your immediate dismissal from the affiliate program. In such a case when you breach the affiliate agreement, you thereby forfeit any earned commissions.
Q. What kind of advertising can I do?
A. Be creative-write a newsletter for visitors to your site, write a testimonial about MagsForLess, and write an article. CPC (Cost-Per-Click) campaigns are allowed while promoting the MagsForLess affiliate program. However, the name MagsForLess can not be used in any form as a keyword or key phrase.
Q. What kind of advertising is prohibited?
A. You cannot send unsolicited email (aka spam) in any way. There will be no leniency in cases of unsolicited email, and affiliates in violation of this policy will forfeit their commissions and be removed from the program.
Q. Can I issue a press release or other kind of announcement regarding my affiliation with MagsForLess?
A. No. MagsForLess will author and issue any announcements to the media. One exception is that we make a customized Press Release available in your affiliate links section. Feel free to submit this press release to your local media.
Q. How do I get started with the affiliate program?
A. It is very simple. Read and accept the MagsForLess Affiliate Operating Agreement, fill out the Affiliate Application, and when MagsForLess accepts your application, you will be notified via email about how to link to us and start earning money.
